Position Description

We are seeking an outstanding candidate with strong potential in one or more of the following research areas related to translational nutrition, physical activity, and weight control: (1) dissemination and implementation science (DIS) in healthcare and community settings, (2) cost evaluation of clinical interventions and implementation strategies, and/or (3) research-practice partnerships. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects in a program of DIS research related to childhood obesity, adult obesity, and diabetes prevention with a focus on advancing health equity. The successful candidate will be supported by established faculty (Drs. Paul Estabrooks, Jennie Hill, Kate Heelan, and Fabio Almeida) committed to mentoring and developing early career investigators.

Candidate’s Qualifications (who should apply)

Those with a PhD in exercise science, kinesiology, nutrition, behavioral sciences, public health, or a closely related field (awarded no more than 4 years prior to the start of the appt) and a strong interest in dissemination and implementation science.
