Abstract

This one-hour webinar will include an interactive panel discussion with three experts who will share with us current evidence on the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on children’s physical activity levels. They will also discuss promising research and strategies that may support families to engage children in active lifestyles beyond the pandemic. Dr. Parker and Dr. Arundell will be sharing their research on the “Our life at Home” study which is capturing changes in physical activity, screen time, mental health and wellbeing in Australians of all ages during the pandemic. Dr. Vanderloo will discuss Canadian findings on changes to physical activity levels in children during the pandemic and health promotion initiatives to encourage physical activity.
