RIT’s Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition in the College of Health Sciences and Technology invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Exercise Science Program. Exercise Science at RIT is a dynamic program in a technologically rich environment including collaborations that integrate physiology with virtual reality and augmented reality games. This position will have responsibilities in research and teaching. The successful candidate is expected to develop an applied research program in exercise science that may include, but not be limited to, quality of life, well-being, motivation, or rehabilitation issues. This position will also participate in the implementation of baccalaureate and advanced degree programs in exercise science and health & well-being by teaching courses such as, but not limited to Biomechanics, Theory of Athletic Injuries and Sports Psychology.
