Assistant Professor in Nutrition

The School of Family and Consumer Sciences (SFCS) invites applications to fill two nine-month (academic year) tenure-track positions with possible summer teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate nutrition and foods courses; developing new courses; conducting research using (1) biochemical or molecular techniques in pre-clinical models or (2) community-based or translational approaches in areas including but not limited to how nutrition relates to human growth and development, physical performance, health behaviors, cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, epigenetics, microbiome and neuroscience; obtaining external funding and publishing; involving undergraduate and graduate students in research; and participating in appropriate service activities. Collectively, this position includes teaching, scholarship, and professional service.
