Position Description

The role holder will join the team working on delivering research duties across differing projects. Currently research is based within the established projects of Actwell study, BeWEL evaluation, Scottish Cancer Prevention Network projects on learning about cancer and screening in nursing and allied health professionals and communications on cancer risk in men.

Candidate’s Qualifications (who should apply)

A PhD in relevant subject, or MSc and extensive relevant experience. Excellence in quantitative research methods. Experience with qualitative research methods. Health Professional or Psychology/Communications background preferred but not essential. Evidence of strong planning and organisation skills. Ability to work effectively within a team, with a positive attitude to colleagues and students. Ability to present at national/international conferences, or other events.
