  • Independent and cooperative research in the field of
    Physical Activity and Public Health
  • Acquisition of third-party funds
  • Assisting in the supervision of PhD student(s)

Teaching – also practical courses – and
providing assistance to students at Bachelor and Master level

  • Participation in the institute´s organizational and
    administrative tasks

Classification
Salary scheme of the Universitäten-KV (University Collective
Agreement): B1

The
minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the
classification scheme is EUR 3483.30 gross/month. This minimum salary may be
higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other
earnings and remunerations.

Professional
qualifications

  • Completed Dissertation in the field of physical
    activity research
  • Excellent knowledge in physical activity research,
    including physical activity measurement methods, physical activity
    interventions, behavior change techniques
  • Experience in the realization of physical activity
    intervention or cohort studies
  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative research
    methodology and data analyses
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English
    required
  • Experience in conception and realization of research
    projects
  • Scientific publication activity in English
  • Scientific conference experience in English
  • Experience in writing of grant proposals (desirable)
  • Teaching experience (desirable)

Personal
profile

  • Ability to work independently in research
  • Ability to work in teams and organizational skills
  • High motivation and interest to do research in the
    field of physical activity and public health
  • Excellent motivation to teach Bachelor and Master students
  • Willingness for personal improvement of professional
    knowledge and willingness to cooperate with national and international
