University Assistant without
doctorate

(40 hours a week;
fixed-term employment for the period of 4 years; position to be filled as of
March 1st 2015 )

Job
specification

  • Independent and cooperative research in physical
    activity in public health with the possibility to complete a dissertation
  • Development of research projects and collaboration in
    the research projects
  • Writing international scientific papes
  • Teaching – also practical courses – and
    providing assistance to students at Bachelor and Master level
  • Participation in the institute´s organisational and
    administrative tasks

Classification
Salary scheme of the Universitäten-KV (University Collective
Agreement): B1

The
minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the
classification scheme is EUR 2615.80 gross/month. This minimum salary may be
higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other
earnings and remunerations.

Candidate’s Qualifications (who should apply)
Professional
qualifications

  • Completed master degree in health sciences, human
    movement/sports sciences, psychology or in a related field of study
  • Knowledge in the following fields: physical activity
    measurement methods, physical activity interventions, behavior change,
    data acquisition and analysis
  • Good command of English required
  • Computer affinity and statistical analysis skills are
    beneficial
  • Experience in conception and realization of research
    projects (desirable)
  • Experience in publishing and lecturing activities
    (desirable)
