Position Description

The Department
of Kinesiology and Community Health is searching
for outstanding candidates with a background in cancer survivorship research. We seek individuals with diverse backgrounds in kinesiology, epidemiology, public
health, rehabilitation, psychology, social sciences, and/or basic sciences.
Candidates should have training and expertise in cancer survivorship areas such as
quality of life, clinical survivorship
care, psychological interventions and lifestyle behavior change.  The successful
candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda and advance scholarship
in their area of expertise and contribute to the instructional mission of the department.
The position is a nine-month, tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant
Professor.

Candidate’s Qualifications (who should apply)

Applicants must hold a doctoral
degree in kinesiology, community health, public health,
rehabilitation behavioral medicine, or a related field.  Evidence of post-doctoral
experience is desirable.
