Faculty Positions in Community Nutrition Interventions and Global Health and Nutrition

The Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University invites
applications for two 9-month, full-salaried, tenure-track positions. We seek
outstanding research scientists with recognized scholarly reputations demonstrated
by an active, externally funded research program as well as a substantial
record of publication in recognized journals and
books. Scholarship related to nutrition and human health, in the broadest
sense, should be central to the candidate’s research program.  The qualifications of the candidate should be
consistent with a tenured appointment at the level of an associate or full
professor, with a doctoral degree in nutrition, public health, medicine, epidemiology,
social-behavioral sciences or a related field. Demonstrated research excellence
in areas of interest include but are not limited to maternal and child nutrition,
obesity and chronic disease prevention, food systems for health and nutrition
disparities.  These positions are aligned
with University initiatives in big data, information sciences, and global and public
health. Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is
required. The successful candidates will teach in the Division’s graduate
and/or undergraduate program, bring unique expertise and perspectives to the
Cornell curriculum, and mentor graduate students within and outside the
Division of Nutritional Sciences.
