JOB DESCRIPTION: RIT’s Wegmans School of Health and
Nutrition in the College of Health Sciences and Technology invites applications
for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Nutrition, Exercise Science or
related discipline. The Fellow will participate in research, teaching, and
scholarship that support the mission of the Wegmans School of Health and
Nutrition, which is to engineer effective
health and nutrition education that is a feasible, sustainable, compelling, and
rewarding reasonable adventure. The successful candidate is expected to
assist with the implementation of baccalaureate and advanced degree programs in
Nutritional Science, Exercise Science and Health and Well-being, research
supported by funding internal and external to RIT, and dissemination of
outcomes in written and oral local, national, and international
venues. Support will be provided to encourage and assist the Fellow to
establish a robust research program capable of attracting external funding as a
tenure-track assistant professor, participate in professional development
workshops on teaching, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated
to health and nutrition.
