We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2019 Pragmatic Evaluation in Physical Activity Course. The Course is taking place in Olomouc, Czech Republic prior to the ISBNPA 2019 Conference and has been approved as an official ISBNPA satellite meeting with ISPAH endorsement.

Scholarships to cover the course fees are available for successful applicants who require additional financial support to attend the course. This will be a two-part course, containing both an online component supported by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Physical Activity, Nutrition and Obesity and a 2.5 day face-to-face course in Olomouc.

The course will cover topics such as: Planning for evaluation; Introduction to methods; and Formative, Process, Outcome and Impact evaluation.

The course is ideal for academic researchers who are interested in the practical application of their work, practitioners in physical activity for health, AND/OR for employees of government and non-government entities who aspire to rigorously and pragmatically evaluate their programs and policies.

Course fees will include course materials, lunches and dinners, refreshments, and a copy of Evaluation in a Nutshell text book. Participants are required to organise their own accommodation and cover these costs.
