Building Future Leaders Course / Apply now for the 2nd course

ISBNPA is excited to launch the 2nd year of the Building Future Leaders course – an online, international leadership development opportunity for Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs). We have worked hard to further refine the program after last year’s successful pilot. The program will focus on core leadership modules of strategic thinking and decision making, building a successful team, and networking and collaboration.  

Program Details: 

  • Dates: June – November 2025 (4 modules, each lasting 6 weeks) 
  • Cost: The program is valued at $390 USD, but ISBNPA members can participate for only $100 USD. 
  • Facilitated by internationally recognized public speaker, educator and researcher Hugh Kearns (iThinkWell) 
  • Waivers available for participants from low- and middle-income countries or those experiencing financial hardship  
  • Program includes online interactive workshops, email coaching, self-directed resources, and mentoring and networking opportunities, with a time commitment of around 4 to 5 hours per module.

The Capacity Building Courses are part of the “Growing” initiative integrated into the ISBNPA Strategic Plan 2022-2025. These courses will be operationalized by the Capacity Building Network.

The first course aims at Mid-Career researchers. We are now accepting expressions of interest. See below how to apply for the courses.
