Understand the challenges, needs, and opportunities for emerging behavioral nutrition and physical activity researchers in (post-)pandemic times

The Network of Early Career Researchers and Students of the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (NESI, ISBNPA) would like to invite you to participate in a survey developed to understand the challenges, needs, and opportunities for emerging behavioral nutrition and physical activity researchers in (post-)pandemic times. We are looking for those working/studying in the fields of: nutrition, physical activity, sedentary behavior or sleep.

This project will explore the personal and professional challenges students and early career researchers (ECRs) experience during the pandemic, and identify what developmental needs they have and what opportunities they would like to be provided with now and into the future.

This information will help to inform the future efforts of NESI to ensure students and ECRs are provided with the best information, support, and resources to progress in their careers. In addition, through the publication of the findings, other groups may gain valuable insights into how they can help and support their own emerging researchers.

If you are a student (e.g., undergraduate, master or PhD) or ECR (e.g., post-doctoral researcher, research fellow) interested in taking part in a brief online survey or want more information, please follow this link:

On completion of the survey, you will have the chance to enter the prize draw to win a 1 year International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity membership.

Please share widely with your networks.

Kind regards,

The NESI Research Project Team
